Dr. Hamid is a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution and a contributing writer at The Atlantic. He is the author of several books including Islamic Exceptionalism: How the Struggle Over Islam is Reshaping the World. Recently, Hamid was named one of the world’s top 50 thinkers of 2019 by Prospect magazine.
