PART 3 in a special three-part series. In parts 1 & 2, Dr. Larycia Hawkins reflected on the controversy that resulted in her suspension and eventual departure from Wheaton College in February 2016. She posted a picture to Facebook wearing a hijab in an effort to show "embodied solidarity" with Muslim women, accompanied by her rationale that Christians and Muslims "worship the same God." In part 3, evangelical pastor Kevin Brown of The Perfecting Church (Sewell, New Jersey) discusses his ministry and offers a response to Dr. Hawkins. He also makes recommendations to the evangelical church about engaging people of other faiths.
